COMPARING MATTHEW 13 AND REVELATION 14
THE HARVEST IS THE END OF THE AGE
The Harvest - Under the figure of a Harvest, Jesus describes the judgment on apostate Christendom which will transpire at the end of the age.  This period of extreme judgment which will culminate in a 'furnace of fire' and 'weeping an gnashing of teeth' is often misapplied to the doctrine of an eternal hell.  This however is an error.  A comparison with the Harvest of Rev 14 shows that these judgments are of an earthly nature and will culminate in the complete overthrow of apostate Christianity and the civilization which corrupted and promoted it.
